Due to feedback from our players, we have made some changes to the Teams. Players who are inactive for 40 days or more will be automatically removed from their Team. This was done to encourage all Team members to be active participants in either the chat or events.
If you are a Team Leader you might notice that you have lost a few team members. In the Team Chat, these players will be listed as having left the team.
If you were an inactive player and have recently logged back into the game you might notice that you are no longer part of a Team. Don't worry you can rejoin your old Team (if there is room) or a new Team. Do note however that if you are inactive again for 40 days you will be removed from the Team.
What makes a player inactive?
You will be considered inactive if you have not logged into the game for 40 days. If you are nearing 40 days of inactivity you will be sent a notification asking you to log back into the game within the week. If you have not logged back in you will be considered inactive and unfortunately removed from your current Team.
Note: If you have disabled notifications for Chef Blast on your device you would not have received the message.

How can I prevent myself from being removed from my Team?
You will only be removed from a Team if you have been inactive for 40 days or if your Team leader has opted to remove you. We would recommend that you log in regularly and play levels, you can also help your Team by sending lives.

No, you will not lose any progress in the game. If you have been inactive for 40 days or more you will be removed from the Team you are in. You will however not lose any progress in your game. If the team was taking part in an event you will not be entitled to the prizes after your removal. You can however still join another team once you have started playing again.
What would happen if my Team leader is inactive?
If your Team leader has been removed due to inactivity the next highest ranked active player in the Team will be made leader.
If you are a Team leader and were removed from your team we will not be able to restore you as the leader. To avoid being removed from the Team it is best to keep your account active by logging into the game regularly.
